Frequently Asked Questions About Therapy and Holistic Healing

What services do you offer?

I offer in-person somatic and integrative healing sessions in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I offer online therapy for women in Minnesota and online self-exploration offerings for clients outside Minnesota, depending on the service.

Who do I work with?

2

I work with women navigating grief, major life transitions, and seasons of change that leave them feeling lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. I also enjoy supporting therapists, healers, and other helping professionals who are ready to reconnect with their own needs, deepen their self-awareness, and create a more fulfilling life.

What is the difference between therapy and an integrative intensive?

Do you work with grief that isn't related to death?

4

How do I know which service is right for me?

7

Yes. Grief can accompany many forms of loss, including divorce, relationship endings, career changes, empty nesting, relocation, changing family roles, and the loss of an identity or future you once imagined.

Your session begins with a brief conversation about what you’re experiencing and what you hope to receive. You’ll then settle comfortably, fully clothed, in a supportive space where we use gentle, attuned touch or hands hovering above the body, depending on the modality and your preferences. You’re invited to relax, notice what arises, and move at your own pace, there’s nothing you need to do or experience in a particular way.

That depends on what you're navigating and the kind of support you're looking for. Psychotherapy may be a good fit if you want ongoing mental health support and you are in Minnesota. Reiki or Transforming Touch® may appeal to you if you're interested in body-based or energy-focused experiences. An integrative intensive offers a more focused opportunity to explore personal goals. If you're unsure, we can clarify the differences before you book.

Therapy typically involves an ongoing therapeutic relationship focused on mental health concerns and involves a mental health diagnosis. An integrative intensive is different: it offers a focused, personalized experience centered on your goals for growth, self-discovery, and transformation, without requiring a mental health diagnosis. Drawing on my background in somatic practices, mindfulness, yoga, Reiki, and other healing modalities, each intensive is tailored to your needs, creating dedicated space for deeper exploration and meaningful change. While an intensive can support focused progress, outcomes vary, and it is not a replacement for psychotherapy when mental health treatment is needed.
